This Privacy Policy applies to your use of our websites (together, the "Sites") operated by Miriam Rachael Freed, LLC (“MRF”, “we” or “us”), including www.miriamfreed.com, www.miriamrachaelfreed.com, and www.consciouscurriculum.co. This Privacy Policy also applies to the information you provide to us after being presented with or directed to this Privacy Policy. This could be, for example, when you share your information to create login information or send us an email. Before submitting information to the Service, please review this Privacy Policy carefully.  Your access to and use of the Sites is also subject to the Terms of Use.

This Privacy Policy applies only to the Sites. The Sites may contain links to other web sites not operated or controlled by MRF (the “Third Party Sites”). The policies and procedures we described here do not apply to the Third Party Sites. The links from the Sites do not imply that MRF endorses or has reviewed the Third Party Sites. We collect your information in various ways: Information you give to us: We may collect personally identifiable information from users when it is voluntarily submitted to us, including your name and contact details (such as your email address, mailing address, phone number, and password), demographic information (such as date of birth, gender, location, and preferred language), payment information (such as your credit/debit card number, security/CVV code, and expiration date), and other information (such as feedback and contact forms, personal information, forum posts, survey responses, program participant information, and other user-generated content).

 

Information we automatically collect from your use of the Sites: We may collect information about users whenever they interact with our site, including purchase history (such as coaching packages and programs enrollments you bought, or what items you've saved), log data and device information (such as details about how you've used the Sites, IP address, access dates and times, hardware and software information, device information, device event information, unique identifiers, crash data, cookie data, location data and page/product views or clicks), geo-location information (such as IP address, browser information or mobile GPS information), cookies and similar technologies (such as web beacons, pixels, and mobile identifiers; to learn more about these technologies and how you can control them, see below).


Information we collect from third parties, including third party services (for example if you link, connect, or login to the Sites with your Google, Facebook, Instagram or Twitter accounts) or other sources, including your name and contact details (such as your email address, mailing 2 address, phone number and password), social media handles (such as your Facebook or Instagram handle), and other information (such as demographic data, fraud detection information and information about you and your activities, experiences and interactions on and off the Sites).

Program Operations:
We may use your personal information to fulfill services purchased by you from us and other operate our business, such as sending you information about a program or service purchased from us, respond to your requests, including technical support and refunds, setting up your account for our site, comply with any legal obligations we have, such as calculating taxes, improve our site offerings, and send you messages.

Blogs, Reviews and Forums:
The Sites also may offer publicly-accessible blogs, reviews or forums. Any information you provide in these areas may be read, collected, heard, viewed, and used by others who access them. To request removal of your information from blogs, customer reviews or forums, please contact us. Please note that in some cases we may be unable to remove your information.

 

Group Programs:
The Sites offer group programs and classes whereby users who sign up or are registered will interact with MRF and each other, and will share a wide range of information information, including personal information, and which may be audio and video recorded (in which case you will be informed that recording is in process). By signing up for or purchasing group programs or classes, you hereby acknowledge that recordings of such programs or classes will be recorded and be made accessible to other participants of the program or class, or other third parties.


When We Share Your Information:
We share your information with the following categories of recipients as an essential part of being able to provide the Sites and related services and offerings to you:
- Companies and individuals that help us deliver our services to you, such as payment service providers.
- Professional service providers who help us run our business, such as marketing companies, software vendors, consultants, and advertising partners.
- Companies approved by you, such as social media sites (if you choose to link your accounts to us) and payment processors or financing providers and card issuing banks if you choose to use their services or offerings.

Our Security Measures: 

The security of your information is important to us. We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect your information from unauthorized use, disclosure, and loss. We use a payment service provider over a secured network.  We encourage you to take reasonable measures to protect your password and your computer to prevent unauthorized access to your account. Remember to sign out of your account and close your browser window if you are using a shared computer in a public place.


Keeping Your Information:
We will keep your information for as long as you have an account or as long as we need it to fulfill the purpose for which it was collected or disclosed to you at the time of collection. We may also keep some of your information as required to meet legal or regulatory requirements, resolve disputes, prevent fraud or abuse, enforce our Terms of Use, or for other permissible purposes. When we no longer have a need to keep your information, we will either delete it from our systems or anonymize it so that it no longer identifies you. Please note that we are not responsible for storing any information or content that you provide to us or for any content or information that we provide to you. You are solely responsible for retaining backup files of any information and content that you provide or receive in connection with your use of the Sites.


Delete My Personal Information:

You may request that MRF delete your personal information by emailing [email protected]. Once we receive your submission, we will (to the extent required by law) delete your personal information. Please note that deleting your personal information will result in the closure of your account, and as such, your experience will be impacted for future Sites visits.


Access My Personal Information:

You may request that MRF provides you with a copy of the personal information that we hold by emailing [email protected]. The information provided by MRF may be limited to personal information we collected about you in the previous 12 months.


Notice to California Residents. In accordance with California State law, Users who are California residents may request and obtain from us, once a year and free of charge, information about categories of personal information (if any) we disclosed to third parties for direct marketing purposes and the names and addresses of all third parties with which we shared personal information in the immediately preceding calendar year. If you are a California resident and would like to make such a request, please submit your request in writing to us using the contact information provided below.


Children's Privacy:
MRF does not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 18 and is committed to maintaining the privacy of all children in accordance with applicable laws. If you are under the age of 18, please do not submit any personal information through the Sites. We encourage parents and legal guardians to monitor their children’s Internet usage and to help enforce our Privacy Policy by instructing their children never to provide personal information on the Sites without their permission. If you have reason to believe that a child under the age of 18 has provided personal information to MRF through the Sites, please contact us, and we will endeavor to delete that information from our databases.


Parents are guardians are hereby advised that the Sites may contain content relating to mature topics which may not be suitable for children under the age of 18.


Information for Visitors from Outside of the United States:
The Sites are hosted in the United States. If you are visiting the Sites from outside the United States, your information may be transferred to, stored and processed in the United States in accordance with this Privacy Policy and applicable US laws. Please note that data protection and other applicable laws of the United States may not be as comprehensive as those laws or regulations in your country or may otherwise differ from the data protection or consumer protection laws in your country.
